Xubuntu to PC-BSD 10.1

Instead of the typical Linux kernel its a FreeBSD kernel, similar in its goal but both kernels are 99.9% different "kernel" design wise.

I switched back to Xubuntu since FreeBSD is ok but theres some odd desktop lag issues for no reason.

There's nothing wrong with that video card. It's listed as a 'HEAVY GAMING GPU' on NVIDIA. I'm sure i'll be fine. xD

Good GPU but that card was released in late 2010 and will be starting to show its age in modern games in a short while. And the 700 series have been out almost for a year already and the 800 series are slated for release later this year.

 

Not really a "Post your Desktop" but i was taking my old PC apart/converting it to be a testbench system to screw around with/torture it and i was plugging in the keyboard and mouse and the CPU 4 pin power connector which wasn't put in enough(not locked in) happened to pop out, normally this isn't a big deal but it's a completely different story when the system is Running at the same time. Let's just say i was thinking: "Shit did i kill it already".. And if your wondering the motherboard was VERY unhappy with me killing power to the CPU/disabling the CPU in the middle of operation and decided to go to a black screen and all the fans screaming 100% and would only shutoff by flipping the switch on the power supply.

I feel sorry for this thing it's 7 years old tired and worn out but i just have the inner urge to torture it.

EDIT: I looked at this and realized I haven't used Oovoo or iTunes in the past few months, so they're now gone.
